Considering writing fanfiction

I will admit to having some decent writing skills but I've never felt the urge to share it online, as I typically assume no one will read them. I would prefer writing from Dragon Age, Hellsing, Naruto, or Black Butler but if you see a fandom in my favorites that you'd rather see feel free to tell me. Mostly, I'm just trying to gauge if I actually have an audience, and if so, for what fandoms...so please, feel free to speak your honest opinion.
